Mary Ting does a wonderful job of world building, developing an exciting plot, believable characters set within the structure of a paranormal novel, plus a love affair that is far from superficial. 

From Gods held my attention from first to last page with a promise of three other books: From Deities, From Origins, and From Titans in her thrilling Descendant Prophecies series.
