The Abduction of Joshua Bloom is Dissected by the Metro Philadelphia Book Club

The Metro Philadelphia Book Club held an event November 19, 2025 with 50 members to examine The Abduction of Joshua Bloom. Topics discussed were Joshua’s coming- of- age journey under extraordinary circumstances, portrayals of alien cultures and governance, the moral implications of genocide, interplanetary travel, and political tensions woven throughout the novel’s extraterrestrial setting.
