Economic Blackout Begins February 28

Friday, February 28, 2025, there will be an Economic Blackout. The idea is to show the Trump Administration who REALLY holds the power: THE PEOPLE. That’s YOU.

Blackout Economic Blackout Begins February 28

Why should you get involved? Corporations and banks only care about their bottom line. By disrupting the economy for one day it sends a powerful message. Your message to the Trump Administration is for them to stop their fascist ways, stop 2025 project programs, and racism that DEI programs attempt to eradicate. If they choose not to listen, we make the next blackout longer. Many companies have rolled back their diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts thanks to President Trump’s elimination of federal DEI programs since taking office one month ago.

Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Make no purchases: on-line or in-store. That means no Amazon or Walmart. No where.
  2. Try your best not to spend money on February 28. No cash on food, gas, retailers, and don’t use Credit or Debit Cards.
  3. You can only buy essential things for emergencies like medicine.

It is strongly suggested you talk about the blackout to your friends and family. Also, document your actions that day to act as a blueprint for any future blackouts.

Once taking office, Trump signed an Executive Order, “Ending Radical and Wasteful Government DEI Programs and Preferencing” banning DEI across the US government. He signed Executive Order “Ending Illegal Discrimination and Restoring Merit-Based Opportunity”. He also revoked Executive Orders over the past half century that attempted to increase diversity and address discrimination in the workplace.

One of those orders took place in 1964 when President Johnson issued Executive Order 11246 which barred discrimination in federal employment and required the government to “take affirmative action to ensure that applicants are employed, and employees are treated during employment, without regard to their race, creed, color, or national origin.” That’s now gone.

Costco Defends its DEI Policies

The results of Trump’s order can also be felt from businesses such as Walmart, Boeing, Lowe’s, and the Ford Motor Co. These economic power houses have ceased their commitments to Pride parades and diversity surveys. Recently, Costco shareholders discussed their companies DEI practices. At their January 23 meeting where 98% voted to continue the company’s DEI programs. COSCO’s board of directors believes, “Our commitment to an enterprise rooted in respect and inclusion is appropriate and necessary.” Cosco’s DEI efforts foster “creativity and innovation in the merchandise and services that we offer” and led to greater customer satisfaction among Costco members.

Yes, some will say DEI efforts are Marxist. Perhaps. But not everything Marxist is bad. Call it what you might, but efforts to help people find jobs and feel included in society is a good thing. When everyone participates, the economy and our lives are all positively affected.

February 28, 2025, will be an economic day of protest showing your support of DEI programs and revulsion at the Trump Administration’s efforts to eradicate them throughout the government. Show your support this day by showing Trump you’re no supporter of Racism, Project 2025, and Racism. On 2/28/25 SAVE, don’t SPEND.
